Introduction

The St. Lucia Freezone is an enclosed area treated for customs purposes as lying outside the customs territory of the island. Goods of foreign origin may be held pending eventual transhipment, re-exportation and, in some cases, importation into the local market, without payment of customs duties.

Goods available include furniture, electrical appliances, perfumes, pharmaceuticals, wines, souvenirs, animal feed and general merchandise.
