
The St. Lucia Freezone is an enclosed area treated for customs purposes as lying outside the customs territory of the island. Goods of foreign origin may be held pending eventual transhipment, re-exportation or importation into the local market, without payment of customs duties.
Unit types available include: whole warehouse; shared warehouse; open-air warehouse space; zone user office space; shared office space. Durations available: commercial leases - 2 or 3 years; manufacturing leases - 5 years.
A company wishing to establish a base in the Saint Lucia Freezone must first establish a company under local law, obtain an Operating Licence application form from the Management Authority, complete, and submit with the relevant fee.
